Tonight I was watching Stand By Me with my mom. (I’d seen it over 30 times, she’d never seen it.) We get to the bridge crossing scene...
Mom: Oh no. This is making me nervous.
Me: Look how high up that is!
Mom: But what if a train comes?
Me: yeah, what IF a train comes?
Mom: Oh my god. Can we fast forward this?
Me: No. This is one of the best parts.
Mom: They are walking so slow.
Me: Yeah, they're just taking their time.
